Se i buoni lavori, Agricola discusso, non aiutano a salvezza, allora i cattivi non la impediscono e i cristiani perciò giustificati non sono obbligati a osservare la legge. La deduzione è logica, ma Luther la respinse e predicò con serietà contro lei.
