On dit qu'un corps physique est dans l'endroit circumscriptively, chaque partie extérieure juxtaposée à Sa partie correspondante des surfaces environing. On dit qu'un être spirituel est dans l'endroit sans aucun doute, entier dans chaque partie d'espace occupé. Un mode mélangé d'endroit est ce d'un être circumscriptively dans un endroit et sans aucun doute ailleurs, comme est Christ dans le ciel et dans l'Hôte Sacré. Ce dernier mode de bilocation est pertinent envers la doctrine catholique de l'Eucharistie Sainte. A mixed mode of location is that of a being circumscriptively in one place and definitely elsewhere, as is Christ in heaven and in the Sacred Host. This latter mode of bilocation is pertinent to the Catholic doctrine of the Holy Eucharist.

Since local extension is not an essential note of material substance, but merely a relation, bilocation does not involve the multiplication of a body’s substance but only the multiplication of its local relations to other bodies.
