[Brahma]Le nom utilisé dans deux sens dans la mythologie hindoue. Le nom Sanskrit arrête le brahmane dans ses moyens de forme neutres le pouvoir provenant de la prière ou de la prière dans le résumé et dans la forme masculine signifie celui qui possède ce pouvoir, dorénavant aussi la caste sacerdotale. Brahma est le nominatif de brahmane. Il fait allusion (neutre) à Atman, créateur et esprit mondial et aussi (masculin) à l'aspect personnel de cette divinité, l'activité créatrice, se formant avec Vishnu et Shiva Trimurti hindou ou trinité. Dieu est représenté comme barbu avec quatre têtes, chacun couronné par une tiare pointue et par un sceptre. Son temple est à Pushkar, Rajputana.
