La Sagrada Comunión puede ser distribuida en cualquier lugar donde la misa puede ser dicha y durante cada día en el año, pero durante el Viernes Santo sólo como Viaticum y el sábado Santo sólo en la misa o inmediatamente a partir de entonces.
