Etwas gibt es bloß Titelpatriarchen zurzeit. Im Osten gibt es Patriarchen von verschiedenen Riten: z.B, Armenier, Chaldean, Melchite, und Maronite. Es gibt geringe Patriarchen, z.B, von Venedig, Lissabon, den Westindischen Inseln, und dem Östlichen Indies.Some of there are merely titular patriarchs at the present time.
