Apóstolo. Chamado o Cananean ou Zelote por causa do seu zelo da lei judaica; ele não foi de Cana, nem um membro do partido de Zelote. Como todos os Apóstolos, ele foi converso, e foi treinado por SantoSaint Peter o ApóstoloPeter the Apostle. Evangelizado no Egito e a Mesopotâmia, embora haja tradições dele estando em várias outras posições. Ele foi mártir da fé, mas vários lugares afirmam ter sido o sítio disto, também. Apostle. Called the Cananean or Zealot because of his zeal for the Jewish law; he was not from Cana, nor a member of the Zealot party. Like all the Apostles, he was a convert, and was trained by SantoSaint Peter o ApóstoloPeter the Apostle. Evangelized in Egypt and Mesopotamia, though there are traditions of him being in several other locations. He was a martyr for the faith, but several places claim to have been the site of that, too.
