Le festin créé dans l'Orient probablement du 7ème siècle et est trouvé dans la constitution de Manuel Comnenus (1166) comme un festival reconnu. Il a été introduit dans l'église de L'Ouest au 14ème siècle, aboli par PapePope Pius VPius V, mais a rétabli par PapePope Sixtus VSixtus V en 1585. Son observation par la Société du Coeur Sacré de Jésus comme le jour de leur origine menée à la dévotion de Mère Admirabilis.The feast originated in the Orient probably about the 7th century and is found in the constitution of Manuel Comnenus (1166) as a recognized festival. It was introduced into the Western Church in the 14th century, abolished by PapePope Pius VPius V, but re-established by PapePope Sixtus VSixtus V in 1585. Its observance by the Society of the Sacred Heart of Jesus as the day of their origin led to the devotion of Mater Admirabilis.
