Worldwide every year is celebrated in September of the software Freedom Day (SFD). In the whole world different actions and events take place in addition all around free and open software.Weltweit wird jedes Jahr im September der Software Freedom Day (SFD) gefeiert. Auf der ganzen Welt finden dazu verschiedene Aktionen und Veranstaltungen rund um freie und offene Software statt.

Also Münster is present this year again and celebrates the SFD in the 9/11/2010 from 11 o'clock in the auditorium Leo 18 on the Leonardo campus in the Steinfurter street.Auch Münster ist dieses Jahr wieder dabei und zelebriert den SFD am 11.9.2010 ab 11 Uhr im Hörsaal Leo 18 auf dem Leonardo-Campus an der Steinfurter Straße.

The event is organised by the Google Technology user Group (GTUG), Java user to Group (JUG) and the Hackerspace grappling hook zone Inc.Organisiert wird die Veranstaltung von der Google Technology User Group (GTUG), der Java User Group (JUG) und dem Hackerspace Warpzone e.V.

Beside talks on well-chosen subjects and Workshops to free software there is a slot for Lightning talcum with which we give to all enthusiasts the possibility to introduce own projects or interesting subjects. However, in addition, there is also enough opportunity to instal a free operating system with a coffee and snack to themselves on site or to try out free software. In the connection there is still a comfortable grill round.Neben Vorträgen über ausgewählten Themen und Workshops zu freier Software gibt es einen Slot für Lightning-Talks, mit denen wir allen Interessierten die Möglichkeit geben, eigene Projekte oder interessante Themen vorzustellen. Zusätzlich gibt es aber auch genügend Gelegenheit, bei einem Kaffee und Snack sich vor Ort ein freies Betriebssystem zu installieren oder freie Software auszuprobieren. Im Anschluss gibt es noch eine gemütliche Grillrunde.
