The General Assembly, as recommended by the Fifth Committee in paragraph 5 of its report, appointed the following persons as members of the United Nations Administrative Tribunal for a three-year term of office beginning on 1 January 2001: Mr. Omer Yousif Bireedo, Mr. Spyridon Flogaitis and Ms. Brigitte Stern.
