Subsection 2 (3) of the General Labour Standards Code Regulations provides that persons engaged in work on a farm whose employment is directly related to the primary production of eggs, milk, grains, seeds, fruit, vegetables, Christmas trees and wreaths, maple products, honey, tobacco, pigs, cattle, sheep, poultry or animal furs, are exempted from application of the sections of the Labour Standards Code relating to holidays with pay and hours of labour.
